Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in chili powder and cumin. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
