  • 1 can (400g) dulce de leche or caramel
  • 23 ripe bananas
  • 300ml whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into a pie dish and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Spread the dulce de leche or caramel over the chilled base.
  4. Slice the bananas and layer them over the caramel.
  5. Whip the cream with icing sugar until stiff peaks form, then spread over the bananas.
  6. Sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings if desired.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent sogginess.
  • For a quicker version, use store-bought caramel.
