A delicious and moist banana walnut bread that is easy to make.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas with melted butter.
- Add baking soda and salt to the banana mixture and stir.
- Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
- Fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can use walnuts or pecans.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- This bread freezes well; wrap it tightly for freezing.
