Description
A hearty and comforting pasta dish with layers of ziti, ground beef, and melted cheese.

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Layer half the cooked ziti in a baking dish. Spread the ricotta mixture over it.
- Top with the remaining ziti and the beef sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use whole milk ricotta for a creamier texture.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
