Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half the mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Layer half the cooked ziti in a baking dish. Spread the ricotta mixture over it.
  7. Top with the remaining ziti and the beef sauce.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
