Description

These crispy baked chicken wings are perfect for game day or any gathering! With a simple seasoning blend, they are easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings get crispy.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they are not touching.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
  • Feel free to adjust the spices according to your taste preferences.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
