A simple and delicious Baked Chicken Parmesan with Mozzarella. Crispy breaded chicken topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Place chicken in a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Double the recipe for larger servings.
