- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs by sliding a knife underneath and pulling it off.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover tightly with another piece of foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce on both sides.
- Grill the ribs for 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
- Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
