A creamy and cheesy dish made with thinly sliced potatoes and a crunchy topping.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Add half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Add the remaining potatoes and pour the rest of the cream mixture over them.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
