Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Add half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Add the remaining potatoes and pour the rest of the cream mixture over them.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
