  • 8 asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast.
  3. Stuff each breast with 4 asparagus spears and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
  4. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  6. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
