Description
Asparagus & Shrimp with Angel Hair is a light and flavorful dish combining tender shrimp, crisp asparagus, and delicate angel hair pasta.

- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, then add the cooked pasta.
- Toss with Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Substitute whole wheat or gluten-free pasta if needed.
