Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread, cubed
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the cubed bread in the dish.
- Layer cooked sausage over the bread.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage layers.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.

- Can be made a day ahead.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
