  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Delicious and savory stuffed mushrooms made in the air fryer for a quick and easy appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (450g) large mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 cup (100g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup (60g) breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing it in firmly.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded.
  6. Spray the tops of the stuffed mushrooms lightly with olive oil cooking spray.
  7. Air fry the mushrooms for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are golden and the mushrooms are tender.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add cooked sausage or bacon bits to the stuffing mixture for extra flavor.
  • You can substitute the breadcrumbs with crushed crackers for a different texture.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
