Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) large button mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 cup (110g) breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are filled.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t overcrowded.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite herbs or spices.
  • For a spicier kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the filling.
