Ingredients

- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by mixing them with sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Layer the bottom of a trifle dish with pound cake cubes.
- Add a layer of strawberries over the cake.
- Spread a layer of whipped cream over the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers until the dish is full.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
- Substitute pound cake with sponge cake if preferred.
