- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the sweet potato fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Once the fries are crispy and golden brown, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the sweet potato strips in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking, then drain and pat dry.
