- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of the cookie dough onto parchment paper, making sure they are spaced apart.
- Place the parchment paper with cookie dough balls into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- For a chewier cookie, slightly underbake them and let them rest on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes.
- You can add nuts or dried fruit for extra flavor.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
