Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  5. Place the cookie balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Flatten each cookie slightly with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
  7. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a sweeter cookie, add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar.
  • You can substitute half of the peanut butter with almond butter for a different flavor.
  • Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
