- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined and a dough forms.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
- Place the cookie balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Flatten each cookie slightly with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a sweeter cookie, add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar.
- You can substitute half of the peanut butter with almond butter for a different flavor.
- Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
