- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Soak the sliced onions in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes to tenderize and flavor them.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the onions from the buttermilk and let excess liquid drip off.
- Dredge the onions in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Arrange the coated onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

- Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your preference.
- For extra crunch, you can double-dip the onions by dipping them back in buttermilk and then in the flour again before air frying.
