- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cornmeal (optional for extra crunch)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the trimmed okra, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the okra is evenly coated.
- If using, add cornmeal to the bowl and toss again to coat the okra for extra crunch.
- Place the seasoned okra in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the okra for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
- Once the okra is golden brown and crispy, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately.

- For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce to the seasoning.
