Crispy and delicious air-fried fresh okra that makes for a perfect snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh okra
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the fresh okra, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Add the cornmeal to the okra mixture and toss again until all the pieces are well coated.
  4. Place the okra in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time, until the okra is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add cayenne pepper or your favorite seasoning blend.
  • Make sure the okra is not overcrowded in the air fryer basket to achieve the best crispiness.
