Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with mozzarella cheese.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil and place the chicken inside.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve with marinara sauce and additional Parmesan cheese.
