Description
Crispy air-fried chicken breasts stuffed with melted mozzarella, topped with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. A quick and easy dinner ready in 30 minutes.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut through completely.
- Stuff each pocket with 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook another 8 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Top with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella, cook 1 more minute to melt cheese.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- For extra crispiness, spray breaded chicken lightly with oil.
- Serve with pasta or a side salad.
