Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, ketchup, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan that fits in your air fryer or shape into a loaf and place it on a piece of parchment paper.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place the meatloaf in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
  7. Remove the meatloaf from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can mix in chopped vegetables like bell peppers or onions.
  • Make sure to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it’s fully cooked.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
