Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  4. If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread.
  5. Place the bread halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up. You may need to cut them into smaller pieces depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry the garlic bread for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some Italian seasoning to the garlic butter mixture.
  • You can use store-bought garlic butter to save time.
