Ingredients

- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes (optional).
- Cut into even 1/4-inch thick fries.
- Soak in cold water for 20 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat dry thoroughly with a towel.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Cook in a single layer for 15-18 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Check for crispness and cook 2-3 more minutes if needed.
- Serve immediately.

- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Thicker cuts may need extra cooking time.
- For extra crispiness, increase cook time by 2-3 minutes.
- Best eaten fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer.
