Deliciously fluffy air fryer donuts that are quick and easy to make. Perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
- 1/4 cup additional sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and gently knead for a few seconds until it comes together.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Use a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters to cut out donuts.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray.
- Place the donuts in the basket, ensuring they are not touching. You may need to do this in batches.
- Air fry the donuts for 5-6 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- While the donuts are cooking, mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
- Once the donuts are done, remove them from the air fryer and immediately coat them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Notes
- You can use a variety of toppings such as glaze, frosting, or sprinkles for extra flavor.
- For filled donuts, you can add a filling of your choice after air frying.
