- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place flour in a second bowl and beaten eggs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil.
- Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- For spicier chicken, add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mix.
- Double-check chicken doneness with a meat thermometer.
