Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place flour in a second bowl and beaten eggs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil.
  6. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

  • For spicier chicken, add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mix.
