- 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Cut asparagus into 3-inch pieces.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat asparagus pieces in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use panko breadcrumbs.
- Ensure asparagus is dry before coating to help breading stick.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
