- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for spraying)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Butterfly chicken breasts and pound them to even thickness.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray both sides of the chicken with olive oil.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking.
- For extra crispiness, spray more oil before flipping.
- Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.
