Description

Crispy breaded chicken topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese, cooked quickly in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness.
  3. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  4. Beat egg in another shallow dish.
  5. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Place chicken in basket and cook for 10 minutes.
  8. Flip chicken, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella.
  9. Cook 5 more minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Serve hot.
