Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Spray both sides of the coated chicken with cooking spray.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and spoon marinara sauce over each piece. Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
