Description

A crispy and light version of Chicken Parmesan made in the air fryer for a guilt-free meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Dip chicken breasts in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and place chicken inside.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook another 5 minutes.
  6. Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Air fry for 2-3 more minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Serve hot.

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
  • Check internal temperature of chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
