Description
A crispy and light version of Chicken Parmesan made in the air fryer for a guilt-free meal.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Dip chicken breasts in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and place chicken inside.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook another 5 minutes.
- Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Air fry for 2-3 more minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Check internal temperature of chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of chicken breasts.
