- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
- 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine cornmeal, flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Pour buttermilk into another shallow dish.
- Dip each catfish fillet into the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the cornmeal mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated catfish fillets in a single layer in the basket.
- Spray the tops of the fillets lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fillets are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the catfish fillets in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes before coating.
- Adjust the spices to your preference, adding more cayenne for heat or omitting it for a milder flavor.
- Serve with sides like coleslaw, hushpuppies, or a fresh salad.
