- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup (100g) breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
- 1 tsp (5g) paprika
- 1/2 tsp (2.5g) salt
- 1/2 tsp (2.5g) black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumb mixture.
- Place shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
- For gluten-free, substitute with almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Adjust cooking time for smaller or larger shrimp.
