- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan, toss with sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-fry the chicken.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
