- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika

- 4 pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
- For the tzatziki, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a bowl.
- Warm pita breads in a dry pan for 30 seconds each side.
- Assemble gyros by placing chicken on pita, topping with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and a generous spoonful of tzatziki.
- Fold and serve immediately.

- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier tzatziki.
- Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes for deeper flavor (optional).
- Drain excess water from cucumber to prevent a watery sauce.
