Description
A simple and nutritious recipe for a Daniel Fast soup made in a crockpot.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of lentils
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups of vegetable broth
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse lentils and set aside.
- Chop the onion, carrots, and celery.
- Add all ingredients to the crockpot.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve hot.

- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Can add other vegetables you prefer.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
